| The first tournament of our 4th season saw 33 teams compete for the $2000 first place prize. Long time regulars, Matt Pember and Jeff Roche, went through the survival elimination rounds and defeated another pair of regulars, Bob Rozycki and Ken Wyatt, 225-184 for the championship. It was the first championship for either bowler. The high qualifiers for the tournament were Nunzio Marino and Jim Lauricella with an 8 game score of 1953. They also managed a 300 game during one of the survival rounds. Special thanks to Jerry Harris, proprietor of Novi Bowl, for his sponsorship of the tournament.
