| One of our added tournament dates, our first time at Wayne Bowl, with a new proprietor...the result....of course, first time champions. Bowling in just their second Can-Am tournament, Kevin Dinh and Tam Dang proved why anyone can win regardless of their qualifying position, which by the way was the 14th and final spot. The two young bowlers won the most exciting event of the year posting a thrilling 224-221 victory over brothers Mark and Paul Milasinovich. Dinh and Dang would not have qualified if not for a last second entry which allowed one more spot for survival elimination. High qualifiers for the tournament were Brandon Hilgendorf and Shane Misko with 1908. There were 53 teams competing for the $1400 first place prize. Our next tournament will be held at Rosebowl Lanes in Windsor, Canada. Starting time is at 1:30 pm. The two champs are centered by Teresa Nguyen and flanked by Tournament Director Todd Cullen and Wayne Bowl proprietor Mike Lucente. |
