| Hail to the victors! It was not enough to be the first women's team to qualify in the Can-Ams five year history, so the team of Heather Judge and Teri White decided to take it all the way with a stunning, yet convincing win over the power house team and also high qualifiers Jay Lang and Art Schroeder. Judge and White, whom I, Lew Ansara, will now nickname "The Executioners", went from being heavy underdogs to looking like prohibitive favorites. The two champs qualified and went through Survival Elimination with ease on their way to victory. This should serve as notice that anyone can win. Next up, our third tournament at Oak Lanes on Nov. 13. |
