| It came down to the tenth frame and a clutch strike from Brian Hatcher to withstand a furious rally from Jason Lewis and Chris Patterson to win, along with partner Brad Smyth, their first Can-Am title. The champions collected $1300 for their efforts. The tournament, held at Bonanza Lanes, was the largest turnout of the year with 47 teams competing for the top prize. Hatcher and Smyth are pictured above with tournament directors Steve Ewald and Lew Ansara. The next tournament and first in 2005 will be held at Jerry Harris' Novi Bowl on January 8. This is traditionally the biggest event on the regular schedule with a guaranteed first place prize of $2000.
