| Repeat!! It wasn't enough to win the second most prestigeous tournament of the year at Novi Bowl so the champion team of John Fox and Mike Doumochelle decided to do it all over again. The site for their repeat performance was held at Westland Bowl. They defeated the very able team of Lee Snow and Ron Bettin. There were 55 teams competing for the $1400 first place prize. Roy Hixson and Terry Haines led the qualifying round with a score of 1805. It took a score of 1636 to qualify for "Survival Elimination". The highlight of the day came in the first three games of qualifying when Mitch Jabczenski Jr. and Ian Sosa shot 801. The next event will be held on Feb. 26 at Wayne Bowl. It should be no surprise that another great turnout is expected. Hope to see everyone there! |
