| The site was Wayne Bowl. The field of 61 teams was the third largest in Can-Am history. The qualifying score of more than 150 under was the most demanding and lowest scoring qualifying round ever. Yet there were very few, if any complaints. In the end it was the team of Nunzio Marino and Jim Lauricella who prevailed to win their second title over Kerry Kreft and Ed Phillip. Nothing came easy this day and the champs both agreed that it was a matter of who was able to carry the biggest shots. |
