| The second tournament of the 2005-06 season saw 30 teams compete for the $1000 first place prize. It was the the first time Vision Lanes had hosted the tournament and they didn't dissapoint. The lane conditions were very good with scoring on bit on the high side. It took a score of 1753, not withstanding the roll-off between the championship teams of Rich Rathburn / Jason Neiman and Mike Busch / Bill Haines, which was won by the Rathburn / Neiman team, to make "Survival Elimination". In the end it was the now 3 time champions Nunzio Marino and Jim Lauricella who withstood all challengers to win the championship. They had to defeat the very tough team of Ken Wyatt and Bob Rozycki. Marino and Lauricella qualified with a score of 1776. Congratulations to the champions. Last year's Grand Finals championship awards were presented prior to bowling to Mike Busch and Bill Haines. Our next tournament is on Nov. 12 at Oak Lanes in Westland. |
