| Oak Lanes was the site of this years third tournament. 34 teams competed for the $1000 top prize. In the end it was Lee Snow ( 2nd title ) and Terry Mariucci who prevailed with a convincing 237-166 win over the powerhouse team of Ken Wyatt and Bob Rozycki, who were also the high qualifiers. It was the second consecutive tournament that Wyatt and Rozycki were runner-ups. Snow and Mariucci almost failed to qualify when they bowled a nearly disasterous 160 in their last game. The champs made the cut, which was 1686, by three pins and never looked back. |
