| RESULTS FOR 02-24-07 TAYLOR LANES |
| A star studded field turned out for our first Open Can-Am Baker Doubles Tournanment at Taylor Lanes in Taylor. Tougher lane conditons saw the 8 game qualifying cut score trimmed to a mere 1675 for the very talented 40 team field. Terry Haines and Jeff Roche paced the field with a score of 1767. The final match pitted the powerhouse team of Nick Wissinger and Mark Moore against Brandon Dale and Arnie Goldman. The championship match ended in a 248-248 tie, sending the teams to a 9th & 10th frame roll-off to decide the winner. Goldman and Dale won roll-off 40-39 to collect the 1st place prize of $1,200. Wissinger and Moore had to settle for the $600 2nd place finish. Our next Can-Am Baker Doubles tournament will be held at Drakeshire Lanes on March 10th. Start time will be 12:15. |
