| Justin Neiman and Tim Hoffmeyer won their first Can-Am Baker Doubles Tournament at Drakeshire Lanes in Farmington Hills. The duo rolled over the team of Cole Muncy and Jeremy Brady 279-131 in the championship match to claim the first prize of $1,000. Muncy and Brady settled for second and $600. A total of 38 teams competed, with an 8 game total of 1790 making the elimination round. Ken Wyatt and Bob Rozycki led the way with a score of 1933. High game of the tournament went to the team of Jason Pretari and Brad Draka who rolled a 299 in game six of the qualifying. The next Can-Am Baker Doubles will be held at Oak Lanes in Westland, starting time 12:15. This event is an over 50 / under 50 tournament, with the maximum team average remaining at 425. |
