| RESULTS FOR 4-14-07 SUNNYBROOK LANES |
| It was a record setting day for the 43 teams competing in the Can-Am Baker Doubles at Sunnybrook Lanes in Sterling Heights. A score of 1847 was needed in the 8 game qualifying round to make elimination match play. Also, a record score was tallied by the team of Joe Krajenke and Fred Bauss, who averaged an incredible 253 for the 8 game qualifying round (which included a 205 8th game!). The top seed once again fell early in the elimination round, and in the final match, the team of ?Jason Lewis and Jimmy Lauricella defeated Jay Lang and Chris Patterson 225-214 to take the $1,200 top prize. Lang and Patterson picked up $700 for their 2nd place finish. The next Can-Am Baker Doubles tournament will be held at Super Bowl Lanes in Canton on April 28th. This is our last regular stop before our Grand Finals on May 20th at Westland Bowl. |
