SUPERBOWL LANES
Jay Lang and Chris Patterson defeated Fred Bauss and Joe Krajenke 238-226 to win the Can-Am Baker Doubles at Superbowl in Canton. A close match all the way, the team of Bauss and Krajenke elected to have Chris Patterson finish the game in the 10th, which probably seemed like a good idea at the time, but Patterson proved them wrong throwing clutch strikes to close out the match.

A total of 29 teams braved the elements (yes, the weather was nicer outside Superbowl!) to compete in the tournament. Rick Vittone and Petsy Wray led the 8 game qualifying round with a score of 1798, however, the "Leaders Curse" continued as Vittone and Wray were knocked out in the first game of the elimination round. A score of 1640 was needed to qualify for the elimination round.

The last stop for the Can-Am Baker Doubles will be the Grand Finals on Sunday, May 20th at Wayne Bowl, with qualifying beginning at 12:30. A guaranteed prize of $2,000 awaits the winner.
