Our fearless leader of the Can Am Baker Doubles finally got his first win. Lew Ansara and Ken Kossick defeated Ray Wisniewski and Allen Wagner 248-215 to take home the first place prize of $1,000. Wisniewski and Wagner settled for second and $500. Those left watching the title match were in disbelief as Lew threw more strikes in the final match than he did in all of 2007! (Ok, that's a little exaggerated!).
Nick Wissinger and Tony Lupo led the qualifying with an 8 game total of 1928. Ansara and Kossick were the cut score of 1834.
Our final tournament of the year will be the Grand Final right here at Bonanza Lanes on April 26th, starting time at noon. |
